What is Vytorin?
Vytorin is a prescription medication that contains ezetimibe and simvastatin. It is used to lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood. Vytorin is used in adults and children who are at least 10 years old.

How should I take Vytorin?
Take this medication by mouth with or without food as directed by your doctor, usually once daily in the evening. If you are taking the chewable tablet, chew the tablet well and swallow.
The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment. In children, the dosage is also based on weight.
Use this medication regularly to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, take it at the same time each day.
It is important to continue taking this medication even if you feel well. Most people with high cholesterol or triglycerides do not feel sick.
