Yasmin

Yasmin Drospirenone Ethinyl Estradiol

If you start the pill on the first day of your period, you will be protected against pregnancy immediately. If you start the pill at any other time in your menstrual cycle, you will need to use additional contraception, such as a condom, for the first 7 days.

Missing a pill

If you forget to take a pill, you should take it as soon as you remember. If you forget to take a pill and it is more than 12 hours late, you should take two pills at the same time. You should then continue to take one pill per day, at the same time each day. You may not be protected against pregnancy and you should use additional contraception, such as a condom, for the next 7 days.
