Prograf

Dosage of Prograf
Prograf is available in the following dosage forms and strengths:
- Prograf 0.5 mg
- Prograf 1 mg
- Prograf 5 mg
The recommended dose of Prograf for preventing organ rejection in adults following a kidney transplant is 0.5 mg to 5 mg once daily. The recommended dose of Prograf for preventing organ rejection in adults following a liver transplant is 3 mg to 5 mg once daily.
Warnings and Precautions
Before taking Prograf, tell your doctor if you have ever had an allergic reaction to tacrolimus or any other medication. Prograf can lower the blood cells that help your body fight infections. This may make you more likely to get an infection or make an infection that is more severe. Call your doctor if you have any signs of infection such as fever, chills, or sore throat.
