Norvasc is a prescription medication used to treat high blood pressure and angina. It's in a class of drugs called calcium channel blockers. Norvasc relaxes your blood vessels, which lowers your blood pressure and makes it easier for your heart to pump blood. Norvasc is also used to treat coronary artery disease (CAD).
